I was a computer science major and set my sights on being a developer. However, after negotiating the title "Business Analyst/Developer," I realized I enjoyed understanding the business, user needs, and translating that into valuable products more than coding. Over the course of 15+ years, I have developed expertise in user research, agile product development, product management, and market research. Through this experience, I have come to understand the crucial role that Product Discovery plays in the success of a product. After six years of leading product development at startups, I decided to transition to freelance work. This decision was driven by my desire for flexibility, as I have two young children, but also by my passion for Product Discovery.
